About Laura

Laura believes that each student has his or her own individual strengths goals. Laura structures lessons to give the student a stable learning environment, teaching reading, proper technique and artistry, while incorporating games and student-centered literature. Lesson Information

Laura structures piano lessons around developing technical skills and an understanding of how music works. Lessons are scheduled in 30, 45, and 60-minute increments based on the age and level of each student. Laura seeks to instill a solid music-reading ability in each student early on, so that each student can eventually pick up a piece of music and play from sight. Lessons are structured so that they are not only good for the fun-loving, can't-sit-still, 5-year-old, but also the 82-year-old retiree.
